Draw editor guide
Draw mode starts with an empty grid instead of converting an image. It is the better route for original icons, logos, lettering, small characters, and manual corrections where every block should be intentional. The canvas, palette, layer controls, material totals, and export tools stay together so the design can move directly into Minecraft.
Choose dimensions that match the in-game space and the amount of time you want to spend building.
Start with a small family of blocks so shapes remain readable and material gathering stays manageable.
Use paint, pick, pan, erase, undo, and redo to refine silhouettes before adding small color changes.
Review layers and material counts while editing instead of waiting until the artwork is finished.
Use Draw when the idea is already simple enough to sketch block by block, when an image conversion adds noise, or when an existing Blueprint only needs a few deliberate corrections.
Check the silhouette at normal zoom, avoid isolated color changes that do not improve recognition, and use the layer guide to catch gaps before they become mistakes in the in-game build.
Save a visual reference for planning, use the mobile viewer while placing blocks, and choose structure or command exports only when they match the Minecraft edition and permissions used for the project.
